Two little Cajun girls go crabbing to help their beloved Grandmère finish her seafood gumbo, but when they run into danger in the swamp, they must remember Grandmère's advice and look out for each other. Set in the bayou in South Louisiana, this Cajun tale highlights some of the beautiful landscape, traditional foods, native animals, and strong family bonds that are part of the Cajun culture. In fact, my twin sister, Lauren, illustrated this book!
