About

Lana Hefner is a proud Cajun woman from Lafayette, LA.
She writes children’s books inspired by the best parts of her childhood: cooking and eating delicious food, dancing, speaking French, going to festivals, having adventures on the water, and spending time with her big, loving family. She is fortunate to collaborate often with her twin sister, Lauren Huff Wolf, an extremely talented illustrator and artist.

Lana also explores her culture and identity through creating folk art in various mediums including paint, embroidery, and quilting.
Cajun people are vibrant, funny, deeply kind, and passionate about their culture and heritage. It is a privilege to celebrate and honor them.

Lana lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, Josh, and her son, Henry. She loves to visit Acadiana as much as possible.
